Event Information Link

In this hands on workshop we will discuss how to treat plant allies ethically. Principles of foraging and being in the right relation with mother earth will open the discussion as we explore the wild edible and medicinal plants growing around us in nature. In the garden we will explore the various herbs and vegetation. The instructor will demonstrate and explain how to harvest from various plants to increase growth, decrease growth, and how to harvest with the intentions of propagation to create more plants.

Participants will learn how to ethically prune as well as the best lunar cycles to implement each practice. Participants will harvest a small bouquet of clippings which they will carry home to propagate in water. They will also choose a clipping to propagate in a small pot of soil which we will fix with a plastic bag dome for humidity.
