Description

Head downtown to help one of Atlanta's most unique community gardens - the Five Points Farm - a member of the AgLanta Grows-A-Lot program.

Purpose

Create a sense of community in the revitalizing downtown area on top of MARTA's Five Points Station and use containers to demonstrate how to successfully grow food (we're a pilot for edible landscaping in urban areas and a Pollinator Partner).

Role

Volunteers help with weeding, planting, watering, harvesting and doing site beautification projects (let me know if you're handy with tools). Wear clothes/shoes you can get dirty. (Groups reach out to me directly before the event to coordinate).
