"Grows-A-Lot" Open House: hosted by GroundWork Atlanta & Mayor's Office of Resilience

Groundwork Atlanta and the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Resilience will celebrate the launch of the Aglanta Grows A Lot program at a community luncheon and public open house on Tuesday, November 14 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Collins Memorial United Methodist Church (2220 Bolton Road, Atlanta, GA 30318). This program will provide opportunities for local community members to establish farms and gardens on Georgia Power transmission line corridors and underutilized City of Atlanta properties.

Future Site of Riverside Farm at Spink Street

The launch event will include a free lunch, an introduction to the Aglanta Grows A Lot program, and remarks from program partners. Participants will have a chance to learn about the program and the urban farms and gardens application process, including information on the Riverside Farm at Spink Street through an open house and optional site visit.

The Aglanta Grows A Lot Program Launch Event and Riverside Farm Open House is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is requested. We look forward to seeing you there!
